Sooo, I've been teaching myself Photoshop over the past year or so, like reeeeally immersing myself in tutorials, reading, magazines, demos, practice, etc. etc., and I've been learning a little something everyday... sifting through what applies to me as a painter, and the stuff that is just... fluff. BUT... today I had a minor epiphany of sorts... that "Ah-Ha" moment (no silly, not the band)... something just clicked, and I felt like I made a huge leap in my understanding of how things work in PS in relation to how I know they work in traditional painting (but simplified as digital-ness goes). Any who, long story, slightly shorter... here's the result. I think he turned out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself! Plus, he's a dragon! My favorite subject to draw and/or paint. :)
Oh, I'll post the colored versions of this guy as soon as they're done.
